Established 1965, the Commonwealth Association of Architects is a membership organisation for national professional institutions representing architects in Commonwealth countries. CAA was formed to promote co-operation for 'the advancement of architecture in the Commonwealth' and particularly to share and increase architectural knowledge, it currently has 34 members
The Commonwealth Association of Architects (CAA) will be marking the 50th Anniversary of its founding in 1965 with a General Assembly and Conference in London hosted by the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) in June 2015.
To commemorate this Golden Jubilee, CAA is pleased to announce the publication of a commemorative book - ARCHITECTURE IN THE COMMONWEALTH - and has commissioned the Architectural Association of Kenya (AAK) to co-ordinate the production of the book on its behalf.Download Details | Space Order Form
"Design Competition for a Universally Accessible & Sustainable PUBLIC TOILET"
As part of its Social Responsibility programme, the Institute of Architects, Pakistan,
(IAP) announces the launching of an anonymously judged one-stage competition for the design of a Public Toilet in an urban space.
The selected design(s) will be used in the construction of toilets in cities and towns across Pakistan with necessary modifications made in the design to suit local conditions. The winning design(s) shall become the property of IAP and IAP will have the copyright of the design to use it for construction in any location. The architect’s name will however always be acknowledged.
Last date for submission of entries: Friday, January 23, 2015 at 5.00 pm
