Conditions of Use
The use of, access to or the submitting of information to www.iap.com.pk web site (the ‘Web site’) and the Institute of Architects of Pakistan (IAP), shall be deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions (‘Terms’) along with those who are associated with these members by any close relation or are interested in becoming future member of IAP, or are interested in knowing about www.iap.com.pk and/or IAP. These Terms may be altered from time to time and the continued use of, access to or the submitting of information to the Web site will be deemed acceptance of the altered Terms.

Registered Members and Secure Area of the Website
www.iap.com.pk and/or IAP will register all those who are or have been legal members of IAP. These members will be given a secured area where they can post their views, news and articles etc. and update their members records solely for the benefit of members of IAP. No member shall misuse or abuse such privilege. Use of language(s) or word(s) that can be deemed as insulting, abusive, or vulgar or can hurt someone feeling shall give right to the management to terminate such member’s right to the membership. Members are solely responsible for their views and ideas, and www.iap.com.pk and/or IAP may not necessarily agree with those. www.iap.com.pk and/or IAP have the right to remove such postings. Anyone who is not a legal member of the www.iap.com.pk and/or IAP, shall not be in the secure area. This area is strictly for www.iap.com.pk and/or IAP members only. Anyone else who either becomes member by submitting false information, or falsifying otherwise in any other manner or impersonating or pretending to be some else shall be liable and subject to prosecution. Members who are in knowledge of such illegal entrance or come to know such activity, shall immediate notify www.iap.com.pk and/or IAP.

Contents of the Web site
All information contained on the Web site is for general information purposes only and may be altered at any time by www.iap.com.pk and/or IAP without notice.

Copyright
All copyright and other intellectual property rights in the contents of the Web site (including the design of the Web site) belong to www.iap.com.pk and/or IAP and accordingly all rights are reserved. Visitors to the Web site are permitted to copy, print or download information from the Web site for personal use only and not for any business purpose.

The Web site may contain third party trademarks from time to time. Visitors do not have any right to use such third party trademarks without the express permission of that third party.

The Web site may contain links to third party web sites from time to time, such links are provided for information purposes only. www.iap.com.pk and IAP is not responsible for the content of or the accuracy of information contained on such web sites. www.iap.com.pk and IAP hereby excludes all liability for any claims, loss, demands or damages of any kind whatsoever howsoever arising as a result of accessing third party web sites from the links contained in the Web site.

Submission of Information to the Website
Any information submitted to the Web site by visitors and members shall be used by www.iap.com.pk and/or IAP in accordance with the Data Protection Act.
Any visitor and/or member who submits information to the Web site warrants that the information provided is complete, true and accurate in all respects.
We will use your information and the subsequent information we collect about you, to create a database. This database and the information it contains will be used by the www.iap.com.pk and IAP or any permitted body (company, firm, person, organisation, school such as MCJ) and their clients/members for the purpose of assessing your suitability, qualifications, interests and skills not only for survey purposes but for benefits to www.iap.com.pk and/or IAP but also for work (volunteer or otherwise) assignments which we think may be of interest to you in the future.
We may also use your information (or give your information to other organisations to use) to keep you informed by email, telephone and/or mail about future work opportunities, additional products and services which we consider may be of interest to you and to conduct research and compile reports.
By responding to our subsequent enquires you are deemed to consent to our processing personal data about you where necessary for the above purposes, including the processing of any sensitive personal data about you.

Jurisdiction
The Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Pakistan, where the original IAP body exists, and by USA laws where the website is being hosted by the ISP, or where subsequently will take place if administration of this website changes hands, www.iap.com.pk will have the choice to invoke any clause under this section or proceed with litigation in any of these countries at it’s own convenience solely, and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the country Courts selected by the www.iap.com.pk. Because current and retired Pakistan military personals are part of www.iap.com.pk and IAP, thus Pakistan Military laws can also be applicable in event of a legal issue. To the extent possible, the application of any law of each European Community member state is excluded from having operation in respect of these Terms. For convenience these Terms may be translated into languages other than English. Should any dispute arise as to the meaning of particular terms then the English version of the Terms shall predominate over any translation.
